July is Iceland's warmest and most popular month — temperatures reach 13–15°C in Reykjavík, daylight is near-continuous, and all highland roads are open. For Northern Lights, February offers peak conditions: long nights and more stable weather than December or January. September is the strongest shoulder month — lower prices, fewer crowds, and Northern Lights visible from late August.
